We are a privately held national company with historical recognition in Chicago. We are looking for a Sales Representative to expand sales revenue and profits by selling our linen rental and services to target hospitality prospects in Southwest Suburbs. This position will report to the Area Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for a sales process which includes but not limited to cold calling, telephone/direct mail prospecting, relationship initiating, needs analysis, preparing and presenting proposals, and selling contracts. The Sales Representative is expected to develop and maintain high level product knowledge and effectively communicate the benefits, advantages, and features of our services and products. This is a true “hunter” role.
Our company believes strongly in training and the Sales Representatives will be given every opportunity to excel by working closely with their Sales Manager and others in the company to provide them the necessary tools to be successful. Continued personal development by company sponsored training, as well as sales seminars and classes offered outside the company are ensured. Requirements
- 1-2 years in a Sales Representative role +
- BS/BA Degree
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel CRM and Outlook

Our client is an established company with a history of success in Chicago. Due to growth; they seek a Continuous Improvement Change Agent to implement and manage Continuous Improvement strategies, processes, and projects using Six Sigma, Lean and Kano principles in a sales and service operations environment. This role will report directly to the Vice President, Customer Services and Systems. The ideal candidate has outstanding technical skills that include strong systems background, while at the same time a consultative and persuasive communication style to work closely with vendors, customers, sales, marketing, supply chain and credit and collections. This is an excellent opportunity to “own and improve processes” for a company that is innovative and moving forward.
Responsibilities:
- Lean Principles: Apply advanced Lean principles (Value Stream Mapping, 5s. Standard Work Cellular Flow, Pull Replenishment, Demand and Production Smoothing and Total Productive Maintenance) to define and implement process improvement for sales and service operations.
- Six Sigma Principles: Apply Advanced Six Sigma principles (DMAIC approach, SIPOC, Process Capability, Root Cause Analysis, Normal and Non-Normal data Statistical Analysis, Failure Modes, Design of Experiments) to define and implement process improvements.
- Leadership: Role model for excellence to embed CI within the organization and develop sustainable CI/Lean practices within the business.
- Continuous Improvement: Work closely with business leadership as well as functional and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Project Management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering or Business Administration. MBA a plus.
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the Continuous Improvement field. 5+ years of Sales, Brand/Marketing and Operations/Supply Chain Management experience.
- Service and/or technology driven company experience desired.
- Business systems development preferred
- 2 years+ of work experience using Lean principles, Six Sigma, LSS, & Statistical Analyses.
- Black Belt certification required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

SALES MANAGER

Our client is a privately held 5th generation service leader with plants throughout the United States. Stability and success have made them a leader in their service industry. We are looking for an aggressive, confident and “winning" Sales Manager who can speak to their results and has demonstrated an ability to lead and motivate others to succeed.
In this autonomous and visible role; the individual we seek must be highly proactive, creative, and resourceful; always thinking two steps ahead. They must understand the importance of high expectations and sense of urgency while taking ownership and accountability for their team. This person must exhibit personality traits that include high sociability, energy, good ethics and drive.
Responsibilities:
- He/She is responsible for generating new sales through the sales force to attain the area goals.
- Recruit, hire, train and coach a team of five (5) sales representatives who report to him/her directly.
- Day travel, including areas surrounding Detroit, MI and Northwest Ohio Region.
- Cold calling with the team on targeted customers in the medical and hospitality industries.
- Implementing the marketing plan and making recommendations aimed at achieving optimum sales and profitable results.
- Provide innovative leadership and salesmanship allowing penetration into key market segments.
- Working to position the company as the valued leader in the market segments in which we choose to compete…and more responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3-4 years in a sales management role with experience in direct management of outside sales representatives.
- “Hunter" sales mentality and service industry experience.
- Ability to foster relationships with the General Manager, National Sales Manager, direct reports, customers and others at their level.
- Experience with database systems.
